Basic Knit Hat

So I attempted to make a beanie. I got the pattern from Michael's for free. Yay free things!

It turned out a little loose and the yarn I used did not look good with this pattern. I'm not sure what the brand of yarn it was. It is worsted weight and wavy. It is a soft yarn but the waviness did not look good. I have only used this type of yarn for scarves with a simple garter stitch and that looked good. Oh well. Now I know.
