Bulky yarn Beanie #1

I wanted to make a beanie out of super bulky yarn for once. I ended up doing a simple ribbed stitched thing and a pom pom on top.

MATERIALS:
-Lion Brand Yarn, Wool-Ease Thick & Quick
-category weight 6 super bulky yarn
-I used the yarn color charcoal
-5 double pointed needles size 10.0mm

INSTRUCTIONS:
-Cast on 48 stitches
-Rearrange stitches so that there are 12 stitches per needle (4 needles total)
-combine the first and last stitch so that you make a round.

BODY:
-P2, K1 for each round until beanie measures to be about 6"

DECREASING
Rnd 1: *(P2, K1) 3Xs, P1, k2tog* repeat until end of round (11)
Rnd 2: *(P2, k1) 3Xs, P1, k1* repeat 4 times
Rnd 3: *(P2, K1) 3Xs, K2TOG* repeat until end of row (10)
Rnd 4: *(P2, k1) 3Xs, K1* Repeat 4 times
Rnd 5: *(P2, k1) 2Xs, P2, K2TOG* repeat 4 times (9)
Rnd 6: *(P2, k1) 3Xs* repeat until end of row
Rnd 7: *(P2, k1) 2Xs, P1, K2TOG* repeat until end of row(8)
Rnd 8: *(P2, k1) 2Xs, P1, K1* repeat until end of row
Rnd 9: *(P2, k1) 2Xs, K2TOG* repeat until end of row(7)
Rnd 10: *(P2, k1) 2Xs, K1* repeat until end of row

Cut yarn, pull yarn through stitches, close up the hole, weave in end.

Optional:
Make a pom pom and attach it to the top of the beanie.

I am new to writing down patterns and am working on improving it. I hope you understand it!
